Casa Chapi Building Fund - Phase One
HOW YOU CAN HELP
Quechua Benefit has earmarked $250,000 for the Casa Chapi building fund. These funds are reserved solely for the construction of the orphanage. When you choose to donate directly to this building fund, you can be assured that your donation will also be used exclusively to construct the orphanage.
BUILDING SPONSORS: Donors who sponsor one of the buildings listed below can choose a name for the structure and a personal acknowledgment plaque will be placed on the building.
GENERAL BUILDING FUND DONORS: Donors who contribute to the general Building Fund will be acknowledged on a special plaque in the central plaza of Casa Chapi.

Living Quarters/Bathroom
|
|
The first residential building will house 25 girls and 25 boys. There will be bathrooms and hot showers in each wing and a locker for each child to store their clothes and possessions. Your donation would be the corner stone of the orphanage and keep hundreds of children safe and sound for the next 30 years.

Vistors Building / Guest Bedrooms

|
|
This small 3 bedroom casa will house visiting doctors, dentists, teachers, volunteer interns and donors who want to see their dollars hard at work. The donor who builds the Casa can consider it their home away from home.

Staff Quarters
|
|
|
This space will consist of 3 small apartments for permanent staff members.
|

Sports Facility
|
|
|
A multi use sports court where girls can play volleyball and the boys can play soccer. The younger children will have a special play ground area with swings, slides and monkey bars. A donation to construct the sport court will create a lot of joy over many years.

Chapel
|
|
|
The Chapel site sets at the highest point at Casa Chapi. From this position of prominence the valley will come to know the spiritual message that is being brought to the orphanage’s work. The church will be open to the community and will help teach the value of God’s message to each of the children living at Casa Chapi.

Dining Room/Study Hall
|
|
|
The dinning room will be oversized and double as a study area providing a large family room type of space. This will be the orphanages great room where warm meals and homework help will be served up every day at Casa Chapi.

Garage
|
|
|
The garage will house the orphanages pickup, equipment, bicycles and supplies. Put your name over the door with a generous contribution.

Shop Building
|
|
|
This building will provide space for vocational training in carpentry, mechanics, metal work, sewing and knitting. This facility is a key component of teaching the children life skills that will help them get jobs and support families after they graduate from school.

Medical Equipment
|
|
|
The medical clinic needs beds, diagnostic equipment, surgery lights, sterilization trays and everything else that a functioning clinic requires to service patients.

Laundry
|
|
|
The kids will need a place to wash their clothes and bed linens. A laundry is a special luxury in a place where clothes are often washed in mountain streams.

Admin Office
|
|
|
This facility will provide staff with space for administration work and a place to keep books and records. Put your name on the central office.

Casa Chapi Equipment

|
|
This item is for the general equipment needed to support the Casa Chapi project. This includes a Pickup, Air Compressor/Generator, Books, Computers/Software and Shop Tools.

Casa Chapi Building Fund

Casa Chapi will need to furnish the children’s living quarters, the staff room and dining room, buy kitchen and shop equipment and supply the laundry and administrative offices. Your donation will be used to create a warm and supportive environment for the children and staff.

A library without books is just a building. Tom and Leanne Butchko of Mistletoe Farm Alpacas are sponsoring a Book Drive to help fill the library with books that the Quechua Children of Casa Chapi.

Greenhouse
|
|
|
Casa Chapi’s goal is to be self sustaining food producers. The green houses are a key component of fulfilling that need. They will also be a laboratory for teaching the children horticulture and the lessons of responsibility learned by doing chores.

|
|
|
In Peru the Plaza is central to community life. The Casa Chapi Plaza is where the kids will hang out, play and grow. Sponsor the Plaza and come stay at Casa Chapi and hang out with the kids.

The most requested resource by teachers and parents at the orphanages that Quechua Benefit supports is a library full of books and computers. Very few children in Peru have the luxury of a book to read. You can make it happen.
